Floki's Story

This handsome 4-year-old Red Heeler is equal parts athlete and cuddle bug! True to his breed, he's smart, loyal, and always ready for a job-his favorite job just happens to be fetch. Tennis ball? Frisbee? Stick? He's all in. If you're looking for a dedicated fetch partner, you've found your guy.

He's currently learning leash manners and making great progress. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he'll continue to blossom into a polite walking companion. He can be a little anxious in new situations, but once he understands he's safe, he settles in beautifully and shows his sweet, affectionate side.

This boy does well with other dogs and can enjoy dog parks-but don't expect him to mingle too much. He's not there for the social scene; he's there for fetch and his favorite humans. That laser focus on his people makes him incredibly loyal and bonded.

Because of his herding instincts, he would do best in a home without cats. In the right environment, he's wonderfully cuddly and loves to wind down after playtime by leaning into you for pets and attention.

If you're an active home looking for a smart, devoted companion who will happily chase a ball and then curl up beside you, this Red Heeler might just be your perfect match.
