Floki's Story

Floki is a 65-pound goofball with a heart as big as his paws! This 3-year-old Hound/Heeler mix might start off shy and a bit aloof, but once he warms up, he's an absolute joy to be around. His favorite things in the world include splashing in the hose, running around the yard, and playing with his dog friends - he's the perfect mix of silly and sweet.

Floki is currently fostered in a home with dogs of all sizes and even cats, and he does great with everyone. He tends to bond quicker with women, but with a little patience and kindness, he'll happily open up to anyone who earns his trust.

Floki actually holds a special place in our hearts - he was part of the very first litter Paws of the Pines ever took on! After being adopted as a puppy, he was later returned due to unforeseen medical challenges within his adoptive family. There was no fault of his own - he's just been waiting for his perfect forever home to come along.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, love you deeply, and splash you with a little hose water now and then, Floki might just be your guy.
