Flint is a 1.5 year old, 72 lb male Staffordshire Terrier mix. <br/><br/>Flint is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home. <br/><br/>Hi everyone! My name is Flint, and I'm a big boy with a great big ol' heart! I was found on the side of the road by my foster family - they were a bit concerned that I might not like my tiny doggy sister, but no worries on that account! I LOVE EVERYONE, and I was respectful of her from the start. She's a bit too old to care about playing, but my fosters try to socialize me and let me play with other dogs, and I always have fun. Just now I am playing Uncle Flint to two foster puppies - so much fun! I like to be active and I'm VERY well behaved on our daily walks (I even ignore the squirrels and cats!), but I would love to go on some serious hikes up in the mountains somewhere. I also enjoy going to the beach or out on the water - fishing with dad is the best! I'm potty trained (doggy doors are the best!) and well behaved indoors too, even when I'm alone. I'm such a sweetheart of a pup, my foster mom often questions why someone would dump me, but I can't answer that and anyway, I live for today, so I'm very happy now. I can be a little exuberant when I play, so maybe some older kids would be better than the little ones, but I love people in general. Belly rubs rule! All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes.
