FLASH 's Story
Hey everybody! Meet Flash, an overwhelmingly cute gentleman who decided that living his life in a kennel run while trying to be a stud dog was just not the right fit for him. Thankfully the breeder turned this poster boy for fluffy cuteness into rescue, and now Flash is seeking the life he was always meant to live.
Since he was rescued from the mill, Flash doesn't quite understand toys, or playing, or tug, just yet but he is learning. Flash would be best in a home with another canine sibling or two who want to show him the ropes. Our gorgeous boy is learning to like walking on a leash, he occasionally pulls, but doesn't strain on a leash. He has been great with potty training and hasn't had any issues since he was neutered.

Flash is just beginning to understand commands, but he's really food motivated and will probably learn more tricks than you ever thought possible. It will take very little time for this smart little man to become the dog he was meant to be.

Flash can be a bit of a jumper so we would prefer he goes to a home with a secure fenced in yard. Alternatively, he may be a perfect fit for someone who lives in an apartment that has a door that only opens to an interior hall. Flash absolutely loves to chase squirrels so we would need to test him with cats first to see if he can live with a kitty in the home.

Flash is a true sweetheart. He's so intelligent and loves attention and affection. He is also fine with other dogs and currently shares space with a 9 year old rescued Golden Retriever. He is learning to play with a 2 year old Pittie mix when he goes to work with me.
Flash is a Medium Poodle who weighs around 35 lbs. . He stands at the large end of his breed, 14 inches at his shoulder. He is what is called an abstract, or multi-colored poodle, light cream with lots of shades of tan and soft brown.
This handsome boy has been neutered, and is up to date on vaccinations, but will need a second round of booster shots in the next few months. The Rescue Express will cover the cost of those vaccines if provided at one of our approved veterinarians.
If you are the right fit for Flash, please contact Christine at christine@therescueexpress.org
