FLAPJACK (cc7262)'s Story
Flapjack was found and brought in by a WO policeman early September. We were so sure someone would come looking - but no one came. Flapjack is such a sweety, the animal control officers and the volunteers all fell in love. One of the volunteers said his color and markings reminded her of a pile of golden flapjacks covered in maple syrup. As you can see, the name stuck and he became "Flapjack". Now he's looking for a new home to call his own.

The town vet was in and updated Flapjack's Rabies Vaccination. The next step is to have him fully vetted which will include being neutered. Then we'll have more information to share. His health exam will include testing for Heartworm and Lyme Disease, and testing a fecal sample for worms. He'll b given his Distemper Vaccination, and the vet usually applies precautionary Bravecto to make sure no little critters hitched a ride. But don't wait to come and meet him. We're sure he'd enjoy the company.

BTW - The animal control officers say that it appears Flapjack is housebroken!

If you have any questions, would like more information about Flapjack or if you are considering adoption, you can give us a call. (WOAWL 973-736-8689). Or, speak with an animal control officer through the West Orange Health Department at 973-325-4120. Best yet, stop by and take a look. The Township's Animal Control Facility (commonly called The Animal Shelter) is located at 311 Watchung Avenue, West Orange; and is open Monday through Friday 4:30 - 5:30....

.........
