Flaco's Story

Introducing our fun-loving 2-year-old Pitty, Flaco! This handsome, high-energy boy is full of life and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can run, zoom, and play to his heart’s content. Flaco adores people of all ages, though he can be a bit of a goofball — he doesn’t always realize how big he is, so supervision around small children is recommended. He’s always up for playtime and loves all kinds of toys (except rope toys — those are a no-go for him). On hot days, you’ll often find Flaco splashing around and cooling off in a kiddie pool. He’s a creature of habit, too — in his previous home, he enjoyed Friday bath days as part of his weekly routine. Flaco can make dog friends with proper introductions, but he does have a strong prey drive and prefers to chase cats, so a feline-free home would be best. This smart boy knows several commands in Spanish — including sit, stay, wait, no, yes, and out — and he had great potty habits in his last home. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion to join your adventures, Flaco is your guy! For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30 – 4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
