Flaca is a fun-loving and athletic dog with lots of energy to burn! She is a curious pup who is friendly to humans, but perhaps a little too protective over her own space, and she has no time for other canine counterparts. She is independent and enjoys quiet time, but also has a playful side and would love a companion who can keep up with her. She's a smart girl who would thrive in an experienced, adult-only home. No other pets, please - this girl's got a mind of her own! If you're looking for a strong, independent spirit with lots of love to give, Flaca is the pup for you!

Santa Cruz Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Cat adoptions are $50 - $60 per cat and include spay/neuter surgery, all vaccinations, and FeLv/FIV test. Dog adoption fees range from $50 - $200 and include spay/neuter surgery, all vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative. We have a foster-to-adopt program: pay 50% of the fee up front and foster your new pet. At the end of the 2 weeks, pay the balance of the adoption fee. We offer discounts for adopting multiple pets. If you are 60 years old or older, you may be eligible for our Pets for Seniors program - $50 off adoption fees. Ask us! 232 E.
