FL - Lucy/Palm Coast

Lucy is a 14 month old bullmastiff puppy, who is spayed, current on vaccinations, crate trained and microchipped. She recently completed a training course and did very well! <br/>As with any dog, she is not perfect. She is strong willed and stubborn. She is also still a puppy and has the attention span of a puppy. The family that adopts her will have to have a lot of patience with her, she knows how to behave but will sometimes have to fight the urge to do it her way. When she is introduced to new people in “her” space, she comes off as intimidating and will bark and growl. However, all of that is just bluster and she has never followed through with her threats. She typically approaches introductions to other dogs the same way, and again she doesn’t follow through. When she gets close enough to reach the other dog, she will sit and exhibit signs of submission. <br/>Lucy is still mouthy when she wants something and her wonderful foster family is working on that. Lucy is affectionate and loving. She is very good at sit, halt, and leave it. She also knows turn-around, and wait. She is still working on heel, and most importantly stay. The family who adopts Lucy will be required to continue her training. Lucy is available to a guard breed experienced adult family.
