Meet Firefly! This sweet, sensitive boy is 100% puppy-gangly legs, great big feet, endless curiosity, and a whole lot of charm. At about four months old, he is a smart, gentle pup who loves being close to his people and following them around the yard.<br/><br/>Firefly is doing wonderfully with his foster family's three dogs and has a very gentle nature, even while figuring out the world around him. He is teething and eager to chew, including on hands, but is exceptionally easy to redirect to an appropriate toy. He already sits for treats and responds beautifully to calm guidance.<br/><br/>This quiet, curious little guy loves outdoor adventures in a fenced yard: exploring, digging in the sandbox, relaxing on the deck or grass, and investigating every interesting smell. He has only barked once-joining the other dogs in alerting everyone to a deer in the woods! Otherwise, he communicates with the softest whine when he is lonely, bored, or needs to go outside, and an adorable little sigh-cry when he is ready to drift off to sleep.<br/><br/>Firefly is making fantastic progress with potty training, with only two accidents in his first six days in foster care. He is still learning about harnesses, leashes, and walks, so his future family should be patient, gentle, and ready to give this young pup the time, attention, and positive guidance he deserves. In return, they will get one precious, loving, and very special companion.
