She came to us from Puerto Rico, where she spent much of her short life confined to a crate in a bathroom, largely alone, simply because the resident cat wasn’t a fan of her. Thankfully, one of our amazing rescuers learned of her situation and gently convinced her former owner to let Fifi have the chance at the life she deserves.<br/><br/>Because of her past, Fifi is not a fan of crates and would much prefer to be out exploring her surroundings or, better yet, cuddled up with her person. She thrives on human connection and absolutely loves being held. This little girl is affectionate, gentle, and truly delightful to have around.<br/><br/>Now experiencing New England for the first time, Fifi has made it very clear that frigid cold weather is not her thing. She is, however, a champ about going potty outside. Once she’s finished, she’s ready to head back indoors immediately, thank you very much!<br/><br/>This little girl is great with other dogs, and she'd love to have a canine sibling to play with.<br/><br/>Like many puppies, Fifi can be a bit mouthy as she’s still learning her manners. For that reason, she would do best in an adult-only home or with children aged 12 and up who understand how to interact respectfully with a young dog.<br/><br/>Fifi is sweet, loving, and eager to soak up all the affection she missed early on.
