Fiona's Story

Fiona IS AVAILABLE (updated 12-11-2025). To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/fiona Fiona came to us with one of her pups. They were being given away 'free to good home' and were rescued by an animal lover who didn't want to see them land in the wrong hands! Fiona settled into the kennel life very easily and charmed her way into the hearts of all of the volunteers. She needed treatment for a cancerous tumor that she likely got when she became pregnant with her pups. The good news here is that she is done with her treatments and has been cancer free for over 6 months! Yay for Fiona! Fiona would love a home to call her own. She has been to obedience training, knows all her basic commands and walks well on a leash. She would do best in a home with older kids and no other dogs or cats. She loves car rides and would love an active lifestyle! If Fiona sounds like a fit for you, please let us know. We would love to chat with you about Fiona! The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
