Come see us for a day full of wagging tails and adorable pups!<br/><br/>SATURDAY, MARCH 28 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT AT the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>———————<br/><br/>FIONA’s world changed when her person sadly passed away, and now this sweet little girl is trying to figure out what comes next. It’s been a confusing time for her, and she can be a little shy at first — but behind that timid exterior is the gentlest, most loving soul.<br/><br/>Fiona is the kind of dog who just wants to feel safe again. With a little patience and kindness, you can see her slowly relax and start to trust.<br/><br/>Once she knows she’s loved, this darling girl is sure to blossom into the most loyal little companion. The kind who will follow you from room to room, curl up nearby, and remind you every day how special it is to be someone’s whole world. Fiona has already been through so much — now she’s just hoping the next chapter of her story is filled with love. <br/><br/>Fiona is ready to find her person again… maybe it’s you. <br/><br/>Fiona is a 1-year-old Pit Bull mix and she weighs 38 lbs. <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
