Finn's Story
The Irish origin of Finn can mean white or blessed. Obviously, our Finn is BOTH!

Finn is a 1 year old, white and tan Pittie mix. He's likely to reach 60-70 pounds once he's full grown.

Finn may have had an unkind life before Pawsitive Tails, but he's really starting to open up to the good life! He's what you might call a "gentle giant" of a pup. He's learned that humans can be kind and loving to him. And, in turn, he's decided he enjoys giving humans gentle, unconditional love too.

Since Finn is playing catch up learning how to be a great dog, he's discovered he can finally run, chase, and play to his heart's content. He now knows that if he does a wiggly-butt jump, that tells the humans he's ready for play time! He likes his bones and rubber toys a lot. Afterwards, he enjoys relaxing with his people.

Finn quickly learned that going potty outside means he gets rewarded with treats. And he loves those treats! He's making good progress on that business. He sleeps quietly with his foster family's pack of pups on the bedroom floor because he gets along so well with them. In fact, he would probably love a K9 sibling to keep him company.

Finn does well when left at home, but he's scared of being inside a kennel. He'll sleep outside it but won't actually stay in one . He also found out what a leash was recently and isn't a big fan -- yet. His foster family has been working with him on both, and his furever family will need to as well. Can you blame the poor guy though? It's ALL new to him.

Finn does great with kids and wants to play since he enjoys it so much. Smaller kids may be scared by his bounding enthusiasm, but bigger ones will probably be just fine. Remember, he IS a gentle giant...but also still trying to understand his size .

If you're willing to offer lots of calm reassurance, treats, love, and patience, as well as a fenced in yard, then Finn may be the perfect gentle giant to bless your family!

Finn's adoption fee is $175 and includes his neutering, vaccinations, microchip, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Approved adopters will be contacted to schedule a meet-and-greet.

Apply to adopt at www.PawsitiveTailskc.org
