Finn *BONDED PAIR WITH JAKE*'s Story

Finn — Sweet, Goofy Cuddle Bug Finn is the social butterfly of the pair and was always at the front of his kennel, ready to meet new friends and make connections. He is incredibly sweet and affectionate, and absolutely melts for chest and belly rubs. Once you start petting him, he relaxes completely and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Finn is also a silly, playful boy who loves running and playing chase games with his brother and gets the best zoomies when he’s outside having fun. When Finn first left the shelter, he was timid about things like stairs and new environments, but he has grown so much in confidence. He now happily climbs stairs and even tackled a huge boulder on an adventure, showing how brave he can be when he feels safe and supported. He is still a little unsure about car rides and may bark at strangers at first, but he warms up fairly quickly — and once he does, he’ll happily cuddle beside you for the rest of the evening. While Finn enjoys treats and meals, what he truly lives for is affection. He loves being close to his people and has the sweetest habit of lowering his head and looking up at you with soft puppy-dog eyes and ears back, which instantly melts hearts. Finn is truly a loving, goofy soul who just wants to be close to his humans and enjoy life. Finn and his brother enjoy durable chew toys and love running and playing outside, then relaxing indoors afterward. They are currently working on potty training and are comfortable being crated during the day while their foster family is away. Finn is still learning leash manners and confidence around busy environments, so a home with a secure yard where he can run and build confidence before long walks would be ideal. Finn is bonded with his best friend and brother, Jake, and they must be adopted together.
