Finn's Story
Finn - Male - Adult
Born approx Feb 2025

This is the handsome Finn! He appears to be a mixed breed (with something a little larger), and is approximately one year old. He weighs 55lbs and is 24 inches tall at the shoulders. His markings are striking and his fur is so soft!

Even though he is likely part Border Collie, he does not seem to require constant exercise and/or stimulation. He loves his quiet time and is happy to join you on the couch to watch TV. He is quite good with his leashed walks, and does not pull. He has been attending doggy daycare once a week, and is great at making new doggy friends. He has also spent time with a cat, and did well. He greets new people at the door gently, and then hangs out with you, or goes off to do his own thing.

Finn is house trained and will go to the back door to alert you that he wants out. There have been no accidents in the house! When he first came to his foster home, he spent time in a crate when his humans were at work. He then transitioned to a laundry room, where he would whine a little to start, but then settled down. Now, after building trust, he has free roam of his foster’s house for up to 7 hours along with the resident dog. Many times they have been caught on camera just lying on the couch looking out the front window. There have been no issues.

Finn loves being around his people and will hang out with you wherever you are. He is great at bed time and sleeps the full night. As much as Finn enjoys being around his people, he is also great at amusing himself, and will pull out all of his toys and play for hours.

If you like road trips, Finn is your guy! He is calm in the back of his foster mom’s vehicle. He just lays in the back, no whining, and falls asleep or plays with a toy until we reach our destination.

Finn is very smart, and food motivated which makes training a breeze! He knows his basic commands and learned “shake a paw” and “down” very quickly. When he does need a correction, he responds very well to a simple “no” or “leave it”.

Finn is a very good boy, and whomever adopts him will be very lucky!

Adoption fee is $295. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed and current on vaccines.
