FINN's Story

This young fluffy guy is a 1:100000000 pup. He's
very friendly, standing up to give me a hug in the
first few minutes of meeting me. So welcoming!
Putting the leash on him was super easy, but he
got nervous and a bit over whelmed walking past
kennels with other barking dogs. In the play yard he
explored and was curious but always stayed
close, checked in with me often and happily
accepted reassurance scratches. He enjoyed
getting brushed and showed concern when he
heard voices from people he couldn't see. The
elevator pitch for this fella is- if you're looking for
a dog that looks big enough to cause strangers to
give you space, but secretly is a big mush who
just wants to cuddle and feel safe with his human-
Finn is the exact dog for you. You should head
into #burbankanimalshelter and adopt him! He's a
very special guy who would love to find his
forever human. 3/31/26 From his Day Hike: Finn was more confident today. He still needs a little coaxing to get in my car, but I bet he'll be jumping in there in no time. He is wonderful on the leash and matches the pace of his handler, which for me, today, was a casual stroll. He's not reactive to other dogs and simply acknowledges his compatriots with an all-knowing nod. No lunging, no pulling, no barking, no whining... it's a wonderful change of pace. Finn will make for a phenomenal companion for a single person, couple, and/or family... this wonderful man goes with the flow.
