Meet Finn <br/><br/>Finn is a sweet 10-month-old pup weighing around 35 pounds who has come such a long way since entering foster care. <br/><br/>Finn's story didn't start out easy. He was surrendered to animal control with his siblings, and sadly, they didn't all get the same second chance he did. When he first arrived in foster care, Finn was very shut down and unsure of the world. Since then, his fosters have been patiently showing him that he is safe, loved, and that he can trust the people around him.<br/><br/>Today, Finn is becoming more confident every day. He has made great progress with leash walks, especially when he gets to walk alongside confident dogs. He loves following their lead and discovering the world at his own pace. He also loves to stop and sniff everything along the way, because there are clearly a lot of very important smells to investigate! <br/><br/>Finn can still be startled by random things from time to time, but his fosters continue working with him every day to build his confidence and help him understand that he is safe. He is learning that new things don't always have to be scary, and little by little, he is learning to trust again.<br/><br/>Finn absolutely loves other dogs and would likely do best with a confident canine companion who can help show him the ropes. Once he feels comfortable, his playful and sweet personality really starts to shine.<br/><br/>Finn is looking for a patient family who understands that building confidence takes time. There will be good days, and there may be some challenging ones, but Finn is making progress and showing more of his personality every day. He doesn't need someone to rush him.
