FINA's Story

Fina is the kind of dog who simply likes being part of your life. She's happiest tagging along, whether that means hiking a trail, wandering around town, relaxing on the patio, or curling up nearby at home. She has that classic Lab personality: playful, affectionate, a little goofy, and genuinely happy just to be with her people.

She's social and easygoing with other dogs, comfortable around people, and settles naturally into the rhythm of a home. Fina notices routines quickly and tends to follow along without needing constant direction. Once she understands the flow of things, she fits in effortlessly and becomes an easy companion to have by your side.

Outside, Fina loves to explore. She especially enjoys water, off-leash walks, and being outdoors in general. She has excellent recall and naturally stays connected to her person, regularly checking in and choosing to stay close, even when distractions like squirrels appear. She's food motivated, fully housetrained, and knows basic cues like "sit" and "down."

At home, she has a calm, balanced energy and an excellent off switch. After a hike or outing, she's perfectly content lounging nearby and quietly keeping you company.

Fina can be sensitive in new situations and may initially feel unsure or anxious when things are unfamiliar. But she looks to her person for reassurance, and with calm guidance and a little patience, she relaxes and gains confidence quickly. Once she trusts someone, she forms a deep bond and becomes incredibly loyal.

Like many Labs, she can also be delightfully unaware of her size. When she's excited, she may lean into you or throw out an enthusiastic paw, and she's still learning to channel that affection a little more gently.

Fina would thrive with someone who wants a true companion, one who will include her in everyday life and enjoy both adventure and downtime together. She's a sweet, connected dog with a soft heart, a playful spirit, and a presence that quickly becomes hard to imagine not having around. She also would love to have another resident dog in the home to play with as she currently lives with several other dogs and thrives on the company.
