She came to us all the way from the Bahamas after being found with an embedded collar that had to be surgically removed. Despite everything she has endured, Figgy remains one of the kindest, most loving souls you could ever meet.<br/><br/>She is affectionate, gentle, and gets along beautifully with everyone she meets. With her playful spirit and calm demeanor, Figgy brings comfort and joy wherever she goes. She is also intelligent and eager to please, making her a wonderful companion who will thrive in a loving home.<br/><br/>Figgy is currently heartworm positive, but she is receiving full treatment through our rescue, and the cost of her care will be completely covered. Heartworms are transmitted through mosquito bites and are not contagious to other pets or people. With proper treatment and prevention, dogs like Figgy go on to live long, happy, and healthy lives.
