She enjoys spending time with other dogs and has a moderate energy level, making her the perfect companion for a family ready to include a puppy in their everyday adventures.

In her foster home, Fig gets along well with the resident dogs and loves having canine friends to play with but would do fine without. She has also briefly met a dog-savvy cat, whom she greeted with excited barks and playful curiosity. She redirects well but would not suggest leaving her alone with any cat that isn't comfortable with dogs. Fig has spent time with dog-savvy children as well and was gentle and kind with them. Like many puppies, she may occasionally jump up when she's excited, but her small size makes this easy to manage.

Fig is making great progress with her potty training and does well when kept on a consistent schedule. She is mostly crate trained and great when crated near her humans during the day & at night but may bark & howl for a bit before settling when if left alone. She has great leash manners and enjoys walks, especially when accompanied by other dogs. Busier environments may still be a little overwhelming, but with continued practice and encouragement, she continues to gain confidence.

Fig is ready for a new life and to be a wonderful companion to her new family!
