Fig's Story

Fig is a mostly confident, happy go lucky girl with an adorably hilarious personality. She's medium energy with spurts of excitement. She's very curious and loves people. She looooves sniffing. She's motivated by smelling, people, and food (in that order). She's potty trained and comfortable in a crate. She loves playing with toys and running around outside.
She is adaptable but can be uncertain in new places, so needs patience while she gets comfortable, particularly on certain stairs or unusual surfaces. When left alone for a few hours, she settles quickly and naps. She's easy to walk most of the time, but can get excited during long walks. We think she would do best with older kids (over 12 years old). She seems to do well with other dogs.
We pulled Fig from the Prince George's County Shelter, where they called her Cassia.
