Fifi's Story
Fifi A182853
35 lb. spayed female, approx 9 months old

-This young, playful girl is full of energy and ready to bring lots of fun to her future home! She walks fairly well on leash but sometimes gets the urge to burst into a run--zoomies are definitely one of her favorite activities. She's not much of a couch potato and would love a home where she has space to run, play, and burn off some of that happy puppy energy.

-She enjoys affection and will occasionally settle in for pets. Every so often she'll slowly roll over for a belly rub... but the moment you start rubbing, she turns into a wiggly bundle of excitement, pops back up, and is off running again!

-Toys are a big hit with her, especially anything she can chase, and she's always ready for playtime. She takes treats here and there and is still working on her manners like "sit," so she'll benefit from some continued training and guidance as she grows.

-With her playful spirit and lively personality, she'd do best with an active adopter who's ready for a fun companion and doesn't mind a few zoomies along the way!

-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
