While she's still recovering from her amputation, she's already walking beautifully on leash and is dreaming of future beach strolls, wooded adventures, and tagging along wherever her people go. For now, she's perfectly content to snuggle on the couch, curl up in bed, and soak up all the love she can get.

Fifa has never met a stranger or a dog she doesn't like! She greets new people with happy tail wags, gentle hand kisses, and her soulful eyes, and she's eager to make friends with every pup she meets by exchanging sniffs and kisses. She's house-trained, rides calmly in the car, sleeps through the night, and has wonderful manners around other dogs. She's even been a respectful, curious neighbor to her foster's bunny, proving just how gentle her heart really is.

One of the best things about Fifa is how affectionate she is. She loves belly rubs, treats, cuddles, and being close to her people. Her adorable little morning grunts when she wakes up are guaranteed to make you smile, and while she's mostly the perfect lady, she has just enough mischievous charm to keep life fun; like the time she quietly helped herself to half a sandwich from the coffee table! She's also incredibly patient and trusting, even during her recovery, making grooming and care a breeze.

Fifa would thrive in almost any loving home, especially one with another friendly dog and people who enjoy having a loyal companion by their side. She will need some continued medical monitoring as she recovers from her amputation and to help rule out any other potential health concerns, but that hasn't slowed her down. She embraces each day with resilience, sweetness, and an endless supply of love to give. If you're looking for a gentle best friend who will fill your days with snuggles, kisses, and unconditional love, Fifa is ready to steal your heart.

Fifa joined the POMDR family after the staff at the Los Banos Animal Shelter recognized her exceptional temperament and reached out to find her more appropriate placement.
