Fierce's Story
"Some hearts are meant to shine brighter than the rest" — Fierce is one of those hearts. This 3-year-old pit mix is around 55 pounds of pure love, energy, and personality, ready to fill a home with joy. Don't be fooled by her name — she's a total sweetheart who loves attention, playtime, and snuggles, and she even gives the best upright hugs you'll ever get.

Fierce is dog-friendly (big dogs preferred, meet-and-greet required), kid-friendly, house trained, and crate trained — give her a Kong or a tough chew, and she's perfectly content. She's not suited for cats or small animals due to her high prey drive, but humans are her favorite company. She would also be fine as an only pet so she can soak up all the love herself. Fierce doesn't have separation anxiety; she simply loves being near her people and will let you know when she wants company.

Her journey hasn't been easy — Fierce came to rescue as an owner surrender while pregnant, and faced mastitis that made it impossible to nurse, plus some skin issues that have since been cleared. She's resilient, intelligent, and has flourished in her new surroundings. With some training through Say It Once, she knows several tricks and is a quick learner. She loves staying busy but can relax in her crate when needed.

Fierce is up to date on vaccines and spayed, ready to trade her days of motherhood for a life full of adventure, love, and cuddles. She would thrive in an active home that can help her burn off her energy — long walks, car rides, belly rubs, snack time, and quality snuggle sessions are her idea of perfection. She may not be the best fit for apartment living, as she loves to let her humans know she's around, but in the right home, she'll be the loyal, loving companion you've been waiting for.

If you want to apply to adopt please go to OneByOneRescue.org

Together, we're saving lives—one by one!

One By One Rescue is an all volunteer, 501c3 non-profit foster based rescue.
