FIDO NEEDS a FOSTER or FOREVER HOME<br/> <br/>We don't want this darling 11-month-old, 60 lb, shepherd mix puppy to go into boarding!!! <br/>After the trauma of being a baby dog in a high kill shelter, his time in his short term foster has been so healing.<br/> Boarding would put him back in stress mode!<br/>Fido has let go of his hyper vigilance and is starting to feel safe and loved. He is sleeping deeply and relaxing at last.<br/><br/>He is showing his true personality which is an affectionate, moderate energy, very smart, playful puppy who craves interaction and connection with all humans. He loves having his forehead stroked, and the side of his head scratched. He almost falls asleep.<br/>Fido has made friends with one of our AFLAR foster dog, Kona and they had a joyful, easy walk together.<br/>Fido has some puppy learning to do like some leash manners. He is so curious about the world that he wants to pull us along to see it all!!! But he is very smart, listens well, and is ready to learn.<br/><br/>Fido's ideal home would be with people who are willing to do some training with him so he can learn his puppy manners.
