Fern's Story
Meet Fern, one of our newest rescues, under a year old and full of puppy energy. She’s settling in well at her foster home but still has some typical puppy behaviors. Fern’s journey with Freedom Farm began about a month ago when one of our foster volunteers encountered a man outside a store with Fern. After striking up a conversation, he explained that he was homeless and could no longer care for her. He hoped to find someone who could provide Fern with a loving home. Our foster mom stepped up and agreed to take her in, promising to find Fern the home she deserves.<br/>The man was overjoyed, gathered Fern’s belongings, and said a heartfelt goodbye, assuring her that she wouldn’t have to endure the heat or rain anymore and would have a wonderful life ahead. Thanks to his care, Fern is healthy, and now up to date on her shots, microchipped, and spayed. She’s now ready for an active family who can help her work through her puppy training. A home with a pool would be perfect, as Fern absolutely loves water!
