This sweet girl is a little shy at first, but every day she's becoming a bit braver and letting her gentle personality shine.<br/><br/>Fern is the kind of dog who just needs a little time and patience to feel safe. Once she settles in, she'll happily hang out with her people and enjoy the simple things in life-like relaxing nearby, exploring the yard, and following her dog friends around.<br/><br/>Because she's still building confidence, Fern will need a home with another young and confident dog who can show her the ropes and help her feel secure. Having a dog buddy really helps her come out of her shell.<br/><br/>Fern hasn't lived with children in her foster home, and since she can be timid, we think she would do best in a home with respectful kids ages 11 and up who understand that she may need a little time to warm up.<br/><br/>With patience, love, and a friendly dog companion, Fern will blossom into a wonderful and loyal little friend. <br/><br/>Fern is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped, and she's ready to find the calm, loving home she deserves.<br/><br/>The Adoption Fee is $375.00<br/><br/>***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** <br/><br/> ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** <br/><br/>Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care.
