Fergie's Story
Fergie arrived at the shelter as a stray. When she arrived, she had a very large mass hanging off of her right shoulder. It has since been removed and sent out for testing. The mass came back as a noncancerous tumor and removal of it was complete. Fergie feels much better since that pendulous weight has been removed from her shoulder! Fergie is around 6 years old and has had bloodwork that indicated that she is hypothyroid. She is starting a course of medication that is relatively affordable and will need to be on it most likely for the rest of her life. Due to this she will need someone that understands that they will have to work closely with a veterinarian to ensure that bloodwork is done regularly to keep her thyroid levels where they should be. Fergie is a sweet girl with a gentle soul and would love to find her loving forever home soon! She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.
Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter
5051 Letterkenny Road West
Chambersburg, PA 17201
Kennel License# 2090
