Fenton's Story
Looking for a tiny best friend with a big love for snuggles? Meet Fenton, a 1 year old chihuahua mix whose favorite hobbies include but are not limited to: cuddling, lounging in cozy blankets, and wearing sweaters.

Fenton is a sweet, gentle soul who bonds deeply with his person or people. Once he feels safe, he's all about lap time, couch time, and making sure he's not missing out on anything. He may be a little shy at first—especially around men—but with patience, calm energy, and a few treats, he warms up relatively quickly.

Fenton has very strong opinions about the weather. He is not a fan of the snow, and is even more disdainful of the cold temperatures. We aren't sure what he thinks of rain, but can't imagine it would make the list of his top 5 types of weather. Due to his small stature, potty training has not gone well with the below freezing temperatures.

Fenton is crate trained, but prefers to lounge on the couch or sleep in your bed.

His ideal home would include:
-Patient, gentle adopters
-Someone who loves cuddles as much as he does
-A warm home (both emotionally and temperature-wise)
-People who understand his “no freezing paws” bathroom policy
-A human bed with a spot just for him

If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who just wants to feel safe, warm, and loved, Fenton might be your perfect match. (Bonus points if you own heated blankets!)

Fenton's adoption fee is $500! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Rochester, NY.
