Fen's Story

Fen is a 6-year-old Husky/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a heart that is more than ready for a second chance. Through no fault of his own, Fen's life has changed dramatically—his owner moved away, leaving him in the care of a neighbor. Right now, Fen spends his days alone on a tie-out at a house no one lives in, quietly waiting and hoping for companionship.

Despite his lonely circumstances, Fen remains incredibly sweet and affectionate. He adores attention, loves to run, and lights up the moment someone takes the time to be with him. Fen has lived indoors before and would be happy as an indoor/outdoor dog, or in a home where he has safe outdoor space with proper shelter and companionship.

We are told Fen previously lived with cats, and if there are other dogs in the home, meet-and-greets can absolutely be arranged to ensure everyone is a good match. Fen is neutered and fully up to date on all veterinary care—he just needs someone to see him and give him the life he deserves.

Fen isn't asking for much... just a safe place, kind humans, and the love he's been missing. Could you be the one to finally bring him home?

Adopting a furbaby from the Giles County Humane Association saves two lives. Not only are you taking in a furbaby that was rescued from harms way but you are saving another furbaby by opening up a spot in our program! Contact us @ 931-363-5455. Since we are currently a foster-based organization, we do not have a building. You can see our adoptable animals at our Saturday adoption day at the PetSmart in Spring Hill, TN, 10:30am - 3:00pm. PLEASE volunteer and get involved, because the homeless animals in our community need us! And if you are not from around here but you would like to help, we always need donations. Whether it is cat or dog food or monetary contributions, we are always in need. P.O. Box 237, Pulaski, TN 38478 Find us on Facebook @ Giles County Humane Association Remember: DON'T SHOP ...
