Felix's Story

Age: 4 years
Breed: Mixed Breed (Lab Mix)
Sex: Male (Neutered)

Meet Felix!

Felix is a 4-year-old bundle of happiness who was rescued after being found as a stray—and he hasn’t let his past dim his love for life one bit. This friendly, affectionate boy truly loves everyone he meets. Dogs, kids, men, women… Felix is always ready to make a new friend.

Since arriving in foster care, Felix has settled in nicely and is showing what a wonderful companion he is. He’s an excited and loving dog with a big heart, and he absolutely loves belly rubs and attention from his people. While he was a little anxious at first (which is very normal when adjusting to a new environment), he is relaxing more each day and starting to enjoy toys and playtime.

Felix has excellent house manners. He is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and has had no bathroom accidents in foster care. He understands his potty routine and happily goes outside when taken out regularly.

He enjoys spending time outside and does well going into the yard on leash. He has also had some supervised off-leash time in the fenced yard and did great. Felix is still learning a few things about home life—like navigating larger staircases—but he is gaining confidence and improving every day.

Felix has a good appetite and enjoys his meals even more when his kibble is mixed with a little soft food.

Felix would do well in a home that can offer:
• A loving family who enjoys an affectionate, social dog
• Regular playtime and outdoor time
• Continued guidance as he adjusts fully to home life

Compatibility:
• Good with dogs
• Good with men and women
• Good with children
• Cats: Unknown

Felix’s joyful personality and loving nature make him a fantastic family companion.
