Felicity's Story

*Felicity's adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*

Hi! I'm Felicity, and if you're looking for a soft, sweet, snuggly girl to share your couch with, I think we should talk.

I'm a 21⁄2-year-old Husky/Pittie mix weighing about 40 pounds, which I happen to think is an excellent size for cuddling. And cuddling is something I take very seriously. I'm incredibly soft, I love being close to my people, and if there's an available spot next to you--or possibly on you--I'm probably going to find it.

I was born in Alabama and made the big trip to Minnesota when I was just 7 weeks old. Since then, I've spent my life in foster homes. My foster families have taken good care of me, but after more than two years of being someone's foster dog, I'm more than ready to finally be someone's forever dog.

I've also learned some pretty important household skills along the way. For starters, I'm 100% housetrained. Yep, 100%. No fine print, no asterisks. I know where a lady is supposed to take care of her business.

I'm good with kids, and I can live with other dogs and even cats. I just need a little time to get comfortable with new four-legged roommates. I'm not necessarily the girl who walks into a room and immediately declares everyone my new best friend. Give me some time to figure things out, let me get to know everybody at my own pace, and I do just fine.

What I really love, though, is being with my people. I'm affectionate, gentle, and happiest when I can settle in beside someone I trust. After spending practically my entire life in foster care, I've gotten pretty good at adapting to other people's homes.

Now I'd really like one of my own.

So, what do you say? I've already traveled from Alabama to Minnesota, learned my house manners, figured out kids, dogs and cats, and perfected the art of cuddling.

I think I'm ready for my last move.

Love,
Felicity 🐾💕

Felicity is a little fighter who has been diagnosed with autoimmune disease called Canine dermatomyositis (DMS) which is an inherited disease that causes inflammation of the skin, muscles, and blood vessels in dogs. She deserves to find her family just like every other dog up for adoption in rescue. If you feel you can provide her with all that she needs, a lifetime of love and care, snuggles and commitment, please make sure to fill out an adoption application.

--------------------------------------------
All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

Adoption Fee - $0 (Sponsored)

To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
