Fawn Lily's Story
Meet Fawn Lily. This girl is one of the best behaved foster dogs I have had, but she has some trust issues. After seeing how well she has responded here, in the right home this girl will shine!
She is a beautiful girl, around four years old, likely a Jack Russel mix or Chi/Beagle mix. She is about 16 pounds and such a total sweetheart. In the right home with a patient adopter, she will thrive. She is such a good girl, loving and quiet, but she needs time to learn she can trust the people in her life. She is 100% house trained, she can be crated if necessary (she seems to view this a safe place if she is scared, but it's not necessary to crate her). She does amazing on the leash and loves her walks, and seems more settled out on a walk then with new experiences at home. She is a cuddle sleeper and will want to sleep cuddled up next to you. She currently shares this privilege with her foster brother. She can be a little protective if the other foster brother tries to join in, and has reacted to him invading her space a little.
Once Fawn Lily trusts you, she is a different dog. She is learning to trust new situations much more quickly, with new people and new dogs coming through the house. She's adapting more quickly with each new experience.
I can't say enough what a sweet gentle soul she is. She's just been mistreated somewhere in her past, and needs to be sure she is safe. She has lived with kids, but there are no young children in this current foster home. She seems equally wary of new men and new women, but is warming up quickly.
This special girl deserves her own family and will reward them with much love. When this scared little girl turns her trusting eyes to you, it will melt your heart.

Every Underdog have been spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, flea/tick treated, de-wormed, and received rabies, bordetella and distemper/parvo vaccines. All dogs have had a recent visit to the vet as well.

Fawn Lily's adoption fee is $300

We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application, we check references and visit your home as part of our adoption process.
To download our Adoption Application please visit our website:
underdograilroadrescue.org.
You can also email us at underdogrr@gmail.com

Thank you for choosing to adopt and not shop!
