Farrah's Story

Farrah is a graceful, adult dog. In doggie group playtime, she did well with the others, although her play style is gentle as she prefers to run and check out the other dogs who are gentle like her. A crazy, high-energy dog park is not likely to be her favorite place. Farrah seems to be a smart dog (she has already learned a few tricks), is attentive to her handler, will follow you around and will come when called. All these qualities lead us to believe that she should make an excellent student in obedience classes. Training can help build her confidence and attachment to her new owner. If you're looking for a sweet, loving canine companion, spend some time with her today! Farrah is a 5 year old Hound Mix.

All dogs are given at least one set of DHLPP and Bordetella vaccines and are de wormed. Dogs 4 months of age and older are tested for heartworms. Puppies under 4 months of age, and dogs testing negative for heartworms, are on preventative throughout their stay at the shelter. ALL dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered prior to leaving the shelter. Dogs ages 3 months and up will be given Rabies vaccinations as well.
