Farley's Story
This handsome fellow is good with people, but he has never learned how to play with other dogs. He’s walking well on a harness and leash. He loves going on walks (where he won't encounter other dogs) and he’s shown that he enjoys going for a swim in the water.

Farley loves getting one-on-one attention. Due to his history (see below), he will never be a dog that can go to a dog park, but he would love a fenced backyard to run and play in. If you’d like to have a single dog to cuddle and have no cats in your home, Farley would be a perfect buddy for you.

Farley spent nearly all his life at the end of a chain. He was attacked by an animal, perhaps a dog, and received terrible injuries on his neck. Due to his history, Farley is reactive around other dogs while on a leash.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET FARLEY, PLEASE SUBMIT A MYM FORM AND WE WILL ARRANGE A SPECIAL MEETING. FARLEY DOES NOT COME TO REGULAR ADOPTIONS.

Gender: Neutered Male

DOB: Approx. 1/23/2019

Current size; 31 pounds

PLEASE NOTE: we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.

Please see our adoption guidelines at https://spcanova.org/about-us/adoption-policies/.
