Fargo O'Possum's Story

Hi! Fargo is playful, athletic and curious about everything. He loves car rides and gets very excited when the leash comes out. He's been our little shadow since we've had him. Fargo is definitely lap dog. He LOVES to play fetch and will bring the ball to you. If the ball is too far away for you, he will pick it up and bring it closer. He begrudgingly sleeps in his kennel at night or when he is alone in the house.

He is learning leash walking and house training. He has had some accidents so we're doing a refresher course in potty manners.

He gets on well with our 2 senior dogs, but is quite possessive of his toys. He doesn't food guard, but will guard his toys.

Fargo needs a home with sure footed people because he can get under foot. I think he would do well with a family with older kids who want an active companion.

What he lacks in beauty he makes up for with love and play!

Fargo is being fostered in Knoxville, TN. His adoption fee is $250. Fargo is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and vaccinated.

We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.
