Fargo is a very nice puppy that is tan with a black face and a white chest. He has a smooth coat. He is a male of unknown mix. The vets estimate that he was born 12/11/25 +/- 3 days at most. Fargo and his 6 liter mates were left at a dump in Kentucky. HART rescued them on 1/22/26 at 6 weeks old. Fargo weighed 4 pounds at 6 weeks old and 14 pounds at 11 weeks old, so we estimate he is going to be a medium sized dog fully grown in the 40 pound range.<br/> <br/>Fargo is a confident, easy going fun loving pup. He likes children, adults, and other dogs. Although he is cautious when first meeting a new dog (especially a loud dog), he is soon wanting to play with them. He enjoys playing, chasing, and wrestling with his siblings. He has been around 5 adult larger dogs (40-55 lbs.) during play dates. He is spoked by loud barks, and runs back to the house. Fargo has been around 5 younger children (4-11 years old) and takes handling well. Fargo likes to be held and give short licks. He has just started walking on a lead so he will needs additional training. <br/> <br/>Fargo is crate trained and has started working on house training. He rides well in the car. Fargo’ activity level is about average, plays for an hour or 2 and then rest/sleeps and hour or two (and maybe longer in the afternoon). Fargo would do well with another dog that likes to play and run or with active kids. He sleeps through the night in his crate (9:30 to 7:00). He is very quit in his crate. He enjoys chew toys, tug-of-war, and chewing on sticks. He is highly food motivated, so training should be easy. Fargo would do best with a fenced yard, as he loves to wonder around sniffing and playing with anything he can find.
