FANCY is a very pretty female red heeler, about 2 years old and 40 pounds. She was surrendered by her owner for personal reasons along with her two puppies, SEASON and SHELLEY, who may also be posted on this site. Fancy is a very good-natured, likable dog. She is a full-blood red heeler according to her owner. She has a lot of energy, as would be expected of a herding dog, but can settle down and behave herself when she needs to. She might possibly be used on a farm or ranch as a working dog with some training, but can make a great companion and pet for an individual or family in town too. She’s a nice size for either an outdoor or indoor dog, but should be brought in during the coldest winter days and nights. A special plus for Fancy is that SHE IS ALREADY SPAYED AND CURRENT ON ALL SHOTS INCLUDING RABIES.<br/>If you think Fancy might be a good addition to your household or would like more information, please call one of the numbers below or come by the shelter to meet her.<br/>NOTE: Our dogs are now vaccinated for all common illnesses, except rabies, before they are released for adoption. <br/>You must be at least 18 to adopt a shelter dog. Our hours currently are: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – Noon. Call (806) 893-7885 to reach the kennel warden during these hours. We are located at 109 Commerce Drive.
