Faksa's Story

Meet Faksa! Faksa is a gentle soul. Her loyalty and affection shine through in the way she loves to snuggle and follow her people around the house. Faksa can be shy at first and startles easily with loud noises or sudden movements. She appreciates the calm and quiet life. Once comfortable and settled into her surroundings, Faksa is friendly with other dogs and people, including children. She is house trained, knows basic commands, rides well in the car, and she is quiet in her crate. Faksa has a calm energy. She is very obedient and responds to commands immediately. Faksa does well on leash. This girl has jumped a 4ft fence in the past, so she will need other forms of containment to keep her safe. Faksa is doing quite well with her foster who has no fence. She is content to potty on a leash and take a daily walk or two around the neighborhood. If you’re looking for a devoted, calm, and obedient companion, Faksa might be the perfect addition to your home. Faksa has graduated f rom the 12-week Puppies 4 Parole training offered through the Mo Department of Corrections. She learned basic obedience commands and social skills. If interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.

Needy Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy

Adopters will complete an Adoption Application which is sent to the dogs Foster Parent. Their personal & veterinarian references will be checked, a home visit conducted then the Foster Parent will set up a meeting where the Adopters will meet the dog. If the adoption is approved, the Adopter will then complete an Adoption Contract and the dog is theirs! Adoption fees vary. Puppies are $250.00 and Adult Dogs range from $125.00 to $250.00.
