FAITH's Story

***************************************************************************************
"She's a good girl - really sweet. Would do anybody justice!
No resistance, just well-balanced and easy"

"Loves to run around, and enjoys being playful."

"Quiet for the most part, and typically unphased by reactive dogs."
***************************************************************************************

This 3 year old pup is slightly under 50 lbs, and is a nice, easy-going kind of gal. She's friendly, and is pretty much open to making new human and doggy friends whenever and wherever she can! She hasn't had any interaction with kids, however, with her sweet nature, and her love for play, we assume she would be effortlessly fantastic. Cats may or may not be another story. We just don't have indication either way.

This angel spends a good bit of her day in the crate, waiting for her opportunity to run like the wind once she gets out. A yard would be great for her, but not required. We would very much like an active life for her; with love and companionship as a must! Some hang out time watching tv together on the couch, or letting you do your thing cooking, cleaning (or whatever humans do around the house) would be heaven for her.

What we love most about Faith is that while she energetic and loves to play, she is not hyper, and has a fairly calm and confident demeanor. Additionally she is sweet sweet sweet (& affectionate). She isn't that big on kisses, but can certainly melt your heart. We love that she has good energy, and is gentle at the same time. On a scale of 1-10, we would rate her gentleness at about a "7."

She is very loyal, and prefers to stay close. Even if she has access to escape, she tends to stay in her area. She was found making a mad dash onto the freeway ramp when she was spotted and saved. She had a collar and a phone number on her tag, but no one ever came back to reclaim her. We suspect she was dumped, as we don't believe she escaped.

A FEW OTHER HIGHLITES ABOUT MISS FAITH....

1- She'll talk to you. She will let you know when she wants out.

2- She knows SIT and DOWN.

3- She pays attention, is on point, and would alert you if there was anything suspicious or unusual.

4- She loves having friends, at the same time she can be independent. She is ok chilling on her own, and enjoys being comfortable in her surroundings.

5- Funny? Not really....

6- Athletic? Yes, willing and eager to play!

7-Dignified? She can be prissy! She walks with high steps like she is royalty, with her head up and focused.

8- Couch Potato? She can be laid back, and also enjoys adventures.

9- Fur is soft, and she has the prettiest blue eyes.

10- Crate-trained, and if she isn't already house-trained, she could learn.

11- Maybe she could be considered obedient, but definitely not disobedient.

12- What does she like? Running and being free!
13- What does she dislike? Being confined.
14- Separation anxiety? No.
15- Storm anxiety? No.
16- Behavioral issues? No.
17- She's a foodie!
18- Rides beautifully in the car.

19- Health concerns: She has tested positive for heartworms, and is currently being treated.

20- Breed? We have no idea what her breed is, other than MIXED. Those beautiful blue eyes might indicate husky, or even possibly border collie. She most definitely is a mix.

21- Faith's ideal home and ideal life include people (or person) who adore her, plenty of opportunity to be out and about, and if you want to throw in some good food, that would be both the whip cream and cherry on top!

If you would like to provide Faith a wonderful life, please complete the adoption application per the link below:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeJubAHJr4oIe4NkDxnhfBPM1jVRO2s4S0xIjrHVlElAMQWJA/viewform

****************************************
FAITH is located in Houston, TX, and is available for transport to your area. The cost of transport is already included in the adoption process.

FurEverAfter's Adoption Policy
Our commitment is always to our pets, so we are thorough in our adoption process. Our application is lengthy, and does not guarantee adoption. Our goal is to find the right family for our pets, and to set everyone up for success. All our pets are fixed before they are adopted. 1- Potential adopters must complete our application form. 2- The foster and/or rescue reaches out to any considered applicants to answer any questions, share more about the pet, and confirm interest. 3- Once the application is approved for a meet and greet, a time & date are scheduled. We require a copy of the drivers license to be sent to us for verification. Out of state adopters schedule a virtual visit, like Facetime. 4- After the meet & greet, we discuss with fosters for final decision. 5- If it appears to be a great match, we move forward with a homecheck. Homechecks are in person or via video apps like whatsapp, zoom or facetime. 6- Once the match is confirmed, we review the contract & invoice with you, and then arrange for you to welcome in your new pet (either in person or via transport - if out of state). NOTE: If your application is approved for adoption, but it is not the best match for the pup you applied for, we can offer you a better match or direct you to a more suitable rescue group.
