Faith's Story

Meet Faith & Maverick – Two Resilient Souls Seeking Their Forever Homes

Faith and Maverick’s story is one of survival, resilience, and unbreakable bonds. These two incredible German Shepherds were found in the High Desert of California, living in an abandoned building while fiercely protecting and caring for their eight puppies. Despite their difficult past, they are now safe and ready to find loving homes where they can finally experience the security and love they deserve.

Faith (Tan) – Approx. 6 years old
Faith is as sweet as they come, with a gentle heart that will melt yours. She has a loving, affectionate nature and is eager to form a deep bond with her forever family. Though she has spent much of her life fending for herself, she has adjusted well to a kennel environment and enjoys human companionship.

Maverick (Black) – Approx. 2.5 years old
Maverick is more reserved at first but warms up quickly once he learns to trust. When he was first rescued, he showed signs of past abuse, but thanks to patience and kindness, he has made tremendous progress. He is intelligent and responsive to training, showing eagerness to learn despite his lack of formal obedience experience.

Faith and Maverick have relied on each other for survival and are very bonded. While we initially considered keeping them together, we believe they may thrive better in separate homes with experienced German Shepherd adopters who can dedicate time to their individual training and socialization.

Both are:
* Spayed/Neutered
* Microchipped
* Fully vaccinated
* Leash-trained and take treats gently

Ideal Home:
They will need experienced German Shepherd adopters committed to continuing their training. Neither has had formal obedience training, and their recall is still a work in progress, but Maverick is responding well. A patient and structured home will help them build confidence and blossom into the loyal, devoted companions they are meant to be.

If you’re ready to change the lives of one (or both!) of these incredible dogs, apply today:
http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/

Meet and greets are only scheduled with an approved application.
