Meet our baby boy Fabio! <br/><br/>Fabio came into the Western Riverside Shelter as a stray with his brother Slushie. They were emaciated and BOTH of their faces were covered in scars. <br/>It was so heartbreaking!<br/><br/>They waited behind bars for so long in the same kennel, before they were finally separated. Slushie got adopted which left Fabio behind. Months later he’s still there, growing up in a kennel at an overcrowded and high k*ll shelter. We know that adopting a new family member can be overwhelming, so hand holding and talking through the process with potential adopters is a crucial step. We believe that this allows both the new pet and new family to all feel supported.
