Black dogs wait longer — Ezra shouldn’t.

Meet Ezra

Ezra is a big handsome 2-year-old black Lab–type mix with soulful eyes and a resilient spirit. He spent nearly a year in an overcrowded Houston shelter before finally getting his second chance and making his way to Maine with our rescue.

Now free from shelter life, Ezra is thriving and letting his personality shine. He’s a medium-to-high energy guy who needs plenty of daily exercise and mental enrichment to stay happy and balanced. Walks, hikes, playtime, training — Ezra is all in!

Ezra is sweet, social, and other-dog friendly . He enjoys canine companionship and loves being part of the action.
