Evie's Story

COMPANION DOG WHO IS THE PERFECT AGE SIZE AND DISPOSITION:
approx, 3 years young, 48 lbs, LOVES EVERYBODY

FROM HER FOSTER:
"I cannot say enough wonderful things about this girl! After living in a shelter for five months( having 9 puppies) and not knowing her background, I thought she would have a rough introduction to a home life. But nope! She’s house trained and crate trained. She sleeps through the night in her crate without a peep. She’s non-destructive and has yet to chew anything but her toys. When she’s with you, she wants to be ON you or snuggled next to you, a true couch potato."

***with dogs : We prefer she be an only, but she can be around other dogs very easily.

We would not advise that Evie go home with a small breed or a cat as she does have a little bit of a pre-drive.

We have had Evie around younger male dogs and lower energy older dogs and she doesn’t pay that much attention to them. She is OK if they come into her space as long as they are respectful. She really doesn't seem to want to play -another reason why we think she'd be best off as a "human companion"

If Evie were to go home with another dog, the owner would need to understand that it would be a slow transition to set her up for success and of course, there are no guarantees as we don’t know, anything about her history. what we do know thus far is she can walk beautifully on the leash past other dogs, or with another respectful dog with no issues. She does not bark at them, and she is not bothered by them.

Personally, we do feel Evie would do best in a home without a dog, (because she attaches to humans so beautifully)

DO NOT EMAIL IF YOUR DOG ISN"T PERFECTLY SOCIAL, has lived with a dog, LOW/MED ENERGY AND NEUTRAL -AND CAN DO A MEET AND GREET LOCALLY- THANK YOU

EMAIL AMANDA.ERB@GMAIL.COM

IN STAMFORD CT
email Amanda.erb@gmail.com for more info or pictures
