Everest's Story
Everest was born in June of 2025 and is guessed to be a lab mix. He was adopted and learned so much living in a home but was recently returned to the shelter because he does not do well with cats and is too active for senior dogs. Everest loves to play, loves toys, knows how to fetch a ball, walls well on a leash, knows the commands "leave it" and "sit", was practiced but not proficient in "lay down". He is also crate trained; house trained and will even use a dog door. Everest is on his way to be an excellent dog, but we don't want him to lose his good habits by living in the shelter. His ideal home will have a fenced yard, no cats and hopefully a playful friend.

All HSGC pets come with their medical file that shows they are spay/neuter, have all shots, heartworm test, and current on heartworm/flea and tick prevention. Visit our website at hsgconline.org to fill out our application and see all of our pets available for adoption.
