Everest's Story

Everest is a very happy 55-60 pound 1.5-year-old mixed breed boy with so much love to give!
Everest loves everything honestly; he is happy constantly. He loves walks, car rides, going to stores he is allowed in but he is also comfortable sitting at home snuggling up on the couch if you need a down day especially if you have a blanket ❤️ Everest also loves to play hard especially playing tug of war or chasing a ball he currently can fit two in his mouth at once and is working on his goal of fitting 3 in his mouth. He is still a young boy he has a lot of energy and needs lots of exercise. He has never met a human he didn't love and start wagging his whole body for. This is one of the sweetest, goofiest awesome dogs you have ever met.
Everest gets along with other dogs and is currently (and previously) fostered with male and female large breed dogs, sometimes has to be told when enough is enough as he forgets his manners so the human may need to step in and remind him if the other dog doesn't match his energy level. He currently resides with a cat, and it took about 10 days for him to learn not to chase her but now he can walk by her and respect her space. This boy LOVES kids very much however he is young and energetic, so younger ones need to be watched so he doesn't knock them over but for kiddos over 6-8 he's perfect they seem to share the same energy 😂
He is kennel trained and currently sleeps in there through the night without issue. He knows basic commands and is learning more all the time, he walks great on walks with a front clip harness. He loves every single toy you could ever give him and is very food motivated which makes training super easy with this smart boy.
Everest has been patiently waiting for a family of his own as his early life was spent in a kennel on a porch away from people so if you are interested in loving this boy like he will love you apply at Sandi Paws Rescue Inc and set up a meet and greet for Everest he would love to be your new best friend!

Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. You can find information for volunteering and donations on our site as well.
