Hello! My name is Everest. I am a 5 years old, 33 pound, male Japanese spitz mix, I was found by animal control and I was full of mats and burrs attached to my fur. I am so happy Almost Home rescued me. I was very excited when they picked me up then I was taken to a foster home where I was safe and warm. Almost Home saw that I got dental and I feel so much better and am happy and enjoy all this attention and love that I was lacking in my previous life. <br/><br/>I have a very sweet face with the cutest expressions and am beautiful. I am pretty calm, mild mannered. I am happy and confident. I am very cuddly and playful, my foster mom is my security, I like to be around her the most, when she is home. I have other dogs to play with here and there are cats here too. A home with a fenced in yard would be nice but not required.<br/><br/>I am working on potty training; really I am pretty good with routine reminders. I prefer not to be crated; I stay in a <br/>sectioned off part of the house when they are all gone. It isn't often that everyone is gone, so I need to be in a home where someone is around and I have the other dogs as company when they are gone.<br/><br/>I love belly rubs, cuddles and kisses. I am very good at sleeping on the Foster's beds. I love to sleep near my foster mom and never sleep anywhere else when she is sleeping. I need a family that likes sleeping with their dog.
