Everest's Story
Hello friends. I’m Everest!

I’m a sweet, loving 2-year-old Terrier mix who was rescued in Mexico after having a litter of puppies. A kind person helped me get to safety and into the care of The Cantu Foundation and now I’m ready to start my new chapter and find a family who will adore me as much as I adore them.

Here’s what makes me such a special girl:

? Professional Cuddler: I am extremely cuddly and happiest when I’m snuggled up right beside you.

? Dog Social: I absolutely love other dogs and make friends easily.

? Kid Friendly: Gentle, sweet, and trusting, plus I do wonderfully with children.

? Affection Queen: I’m incredibly affectionate and always ready to give (and receive!) love.

? Calm & Playful Balance: I have moderate energy, playful enough for fun, but relaxed enough to chill with you afterward.

A little more about me:

I’m almost fully potty trained and still learning my leash manners, but I’m eager to improve. I’m not crate trained yet, and I do have some separation anxiety, I may bark or scratch for a bit when you leave, but I’m working on feeling more secure. I love car rides, sunbathing, soft toys, and just being close to my people.

My ideal home?

I’d thrive with someone who works from home or is around often so I can cuddle up and feel safe. A yard or patio would be lovely, but I’m happy anywhere as long as I’m loved. I prefer a dog-friendly home and may be okay with cats given slow introductions and patience.

My adoption fee is $350, which covers my vaccinations, spay, and microchip.
