Meet Evelyn — A Little Spunk, A Lot of Potential! <br/>Evelyn is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu weighing approximately 12 pounds, and this little girl is just beginning to show us what a fun, playful companion she can be! <br/>Evelyn has been slowly coming out of her shell, and we’re loving watching her personality blossom. She has a spunky side, loves her toys, and absolutely adores other dogs! We expect her confidence and playful personality to continue growing as she settles into a home of her own.<br/>Here’s what makes Evelyn special:<br/> Vigilantly potty trained!<br/> Excellent in her kennel.<br/> Loves toys and playtime.<br/> Loves other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion.<br/>Evelyn is still learning to navigate the world around her. New things and unexpected noises can startle her, and she’s only beginning to understand leash pressure, so she is not fully leash trained yet. A securely fenced yard is a MUST for this little lady.<br/>While she can be around small children, a quieter home without lots of busy activity would help her feel more comfortable and secure. She’ll also need regular professional grooming and maintenance between appointments to keep her looking and feeling her best. <br/>Most importantly, Evelyn will need a little patience as she adjusts to her new home. She may not show you her whole personality on day one, but give her time to feel safe, build trust, and discover that she’s finally home. <br/>Watching Evelyn spread her wings has been such a joy, and we can’t wait for her to find the family who will help her continue to shine!<br/> Evelyn is looking for a patient, loving home with a fenced yard, a friendly canine companion, and a calmer environment where she can build confidence at her own pace.<br/>Could Evelyn be the little girl your family has been waiting for? <br/>Her vet work will be completed on 10/22/26 and she will be ready to go home shortly after that.<br/>Evelyns adoption fee is $300.
