Eve's Story
Please read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

Update 4/25/2025. Emre and Eve have been together since birth and are bonded to each other. They are around one year old and each weighs about 45 pounds. They are comfortable and happy in their home environment, affectionate with their human family, joyful and energetic and fun. But outside their comfortable environment, they are timid and unsure of the world around them. They go for walks each day in their neighborhood, and are used to sights and sounds there, but the rest of the world is a little bit of a mystery to them and they are unsure about it. They need an adoptive home with adults who would have the patience and willingness to help them to adapt.

Update 11/8/2024. Emre, Eve and Elliot, were dropped off at a shelter on the same day and thought to be littermates. That was back in December when they were about 12 weeks old. Elliot was adopted, but Emre and Eve are still in their foster home. Now these pups are about one year old, very beautiful dogs each weighing about 45 pounds. They are bonded to each other and part of a larger pack of dogs in their foster home. They tend to be nervous in new situations and will need a home with a family who has experience with dogs who are shy. It probably would be best for them to be adopted together, although it will be a challenge to move them into a new home where they will have to adapt to new people and a new situation. They are friendly and relaxed with the three adults they live with, but will need time and patience to adjust to a new home. They love being outdoors and playing in the yard with each other, they sleep with their humans at night. They enjoy going for walks in the neighborhood. They are dog friendly. But new situations are very hard for them.

Adoption application, home visit and adoption fee required. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. To find out more about becoming a Foster Parent, see our website at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com. Look under VOLUNTEER tab.

As part of our adoption agreement, we require that you and your adopted canine attend a minimum of one group basic obedience course within 4 months of adoption. If adopting a puppy under 4 months old, we also require a group puppy socialization course be started immediately upon adoption.

In addition, we require that puppies under 6 months of age will not be alone for more than 4 hours at a time in an 8 hour workday. We highly encourage working families to consider older puppies and adult dogs, but if your heart is set on a puppy, please consider doggie daycare.

Pet ID: Stephanie G
PA Kennel License # 5011
